Welcome to the blog for the Art 101 class!

SaralynR: Welcome to my blog! I grew up south of Fort Worth, Texas and worked as a court reporter until moving to Tennessee in 2006 so my daughter could attend Tennessee School for the Deaf. I want to use the sign language I learned for her and my love of art in my second career, teaching! I am a relative newbie to most web2.0 tools so I am enjoying experimenting with new toys. I am studying art education with a drawing concentration and I hope to teach students who use sign language. I will graduate with a BFA spring, 2013 and then will begin my pursuit for the Master's Degree. I believe all classes need to incorporate technology so the teacher must be prepared in order to help their students survive in the world of computers.
